“Water Resources – One Topic two Perspectives.” Firstly: water resources are at stake – globally. Secondly: Our local water problems in Global North and Global South are similar, but different and they are globally interwoven.
Water activists from Benin (ONG Femme pour l’Eau and l’Institut Tonafa), Malawi (Rise Up Movement) and two activists from Germany (the initiative a tip:tap and Citizen initiative “Unser Wasser”) will share their different perspectives on local water, problems, water activism and work. Together we will discuss solutions, barriers of change and the underlying global interdependencies and power relations.
